What Is Hedging and Stacking?
Updated over 2 months ago

Hedging

Hedging is permitted and involves holding positions in both directions (long and short) on the same instrument simultaneously. This means you can have both buy and sell positions open at the same time for the same asset within the same account.

Important Notes:

β€’ Using hedging as a strategy to exploit price/spread arbitrage is prohibited and will lead to account closure.

β€’ Hedging across two XPERT Markets or other Prop Firm accounts is also not allowed.

Stacking

Stacking is permitted and involves opening three or more trades on the same instrument at the same price simultaneously. This allows you to have multiple positions in the same direction on the same asset concurrently.

Both hedging and stacking are allowed within our trading guidelines and risk management policies. Please ensure your trading strategies align with these rules to maintain a compliant and positive trading experience.
