1. During the Evaluation Challenge ( Phase 1 and Phase 2 )

You are allowed to hold trades over the weekend and trade during the news with no restrictions in the evaluation stage

2. During the Funded Account

Our Funded Traders are strictly prohibited from executing any new trades or closing existing trades on the specified instruments (as listed in the table) during the window of 8 minutes before and 8 minutes after the release of the following news announcements.

To clarify, executing a trade is defined as opening or closing any pending order (including stop loss or take profit) or market execution. However, trades on the targeted instruments that were opened more than 8 minutes before the restricted news event may remain open.

Please note that if your stop loss or take profit is triggered during the restricted time window (8 minutes before until 8 minutes after), it will be considered a violation.

Please note that trades opened less than 8 minutes before or closed within 8 minutes after a High Impact News event will result in voided profits, constituting a violation.

First violation: Soft breach and forfeiture of profit.
Second violation: Hard breach of the account.

To clarify:

- No trades can be opened 8 minutes before or 8 minutes after the news event.

- No trades can be closed 8 minutes before or 8 minutes after the news event.

This creates a 16-minute window (8 minutes on either side of the news event) during which no trades should be executed.
